Planning Manager

I am the leader of the data planning team within the Communications business at LMG. My team is responsible for the design, implementation and analysis of marketing communications and has a critical role in matching the marketing objectives of our clients to a successful and measurable communications plan.

We run communications programmes for many different clients, including all the communications to Sainsbury’s customers on behalf of client manufacturers. It's a great role because the team is in a unique position to make the most of the depth of data that Nectar offers, to build strategic plans on behalf of many different brands at any one time.

What I like about working at LMG...

My position allows me to be close to marketing and data analysis simultaneously which means I can develop my data skills but also my more creative side. In understanding why a campaign is successful or falling short of expectations I need to understand all factors from design, data and econometric factors like the weather or competitive activity – anything in fact that could impact on customer uptake of the offer.
